  • How can I measure direct current strength using built-in 24 V power supply when operating AKTAKOM AM-7070 calibrator?
    1. Press power switch, turn on AKTAKOM AM-7070 calibrator
    2. Press input/output conversion key to enter measurement mode (you will see INPUT indicator on the display).
    3. Press mA/mA% conversion key, make it indicate mA or mA%.
    4. Connect the red test lead to +LOOP, the black one to mA jack.
    5. Connect the red test lead to the positive input of the current source under test, the black one to the negative one
    6. The measured value will be shown in the main area of the display.

Note: in this mode the device simultaneously outputs 24 V direct voltage on +LOOP and mA jacks and measures the input current from the external power supply under test.

How can I deactivate Auto Power Off function of AKTAKOM AM-7025 process calibrator?
Enter “SPFC” additional settings mode of AM-7025 process calibrator. You will need to keep HOLD button pressed when powering on the device. The top right corner will display “SPFC” symbol. To deactivate auto power off function press MEASURE ON button in “SPFC” mode until you see “AP.OFF” on the display. (This function is displayed on default when entering the additional settings mode). Specify auto power off time from 0 to 60 minutes by using the second pair of ⇓/⇑ keys (if counting from right to left). Every time you press ⇓/⇑ you increase or decrease the interval by 10 minutes. If you keep one of these keys pressed you continuously change the value, however this value won’t exceed the max. limit and won’t become lower the min. one. To save the results press SOURCE ON button, “SAVE” symbol will be displayed for 1 second. To automatically switch auto power off function specify “0”.

Can I change the temperature unit when working with AM-7111?
    1. Press START key, LCD will display TEM.U symbol on the upper part indicating temperature unit setting mode.
    2. Choose between °C and °F using ▲ / ▼.
    3. Press ON key, LCD will display SAVE symbol on the upper part for 1s.

How can I set the backlight time of AM-7111 calibrator?
    1. Press START key LCD will display BL.OFF symbol on the upper part indicating backlight time setting mode.
    2. Set the time by using the pair of ▲ / ▼. And the unit is second.
Each pair of ▲ / ▼ keys corresponds to each digit of the LCD reading. Each press of ▲ / ▼ key increases or decreases the digit. Increasing the digit from 9 or decreasing it from 0 causes the digit to overflow or underflow, allowing you to set the output value without interruption. Holding down ▲ / ▼ key continuously changes the digit. And the value won't change if it is increased or decreased to the Maxim or Minimum value. The setting range is confined within 0-3600 seconds.
    3. Press ON key, LCD will display SAVE symbol on the upper part for 1 sec.

Tips: When the default value is 0, the backlight won't be off automatically except that you turn it off manually.

Can I set auto power-off time when operating AM-7111 calibrator?
    1. Press START key, LCD will display AP.OFF symbol on the upper part indicating automatic power-off setting mode.
    2. Set the time within 0-60 minute range by using the second pair of ▲ / ▼ counting from right to left.
Each press of ▲ / ▼ key causes 10 minute increments or 10 minute decrement with constant setting. Constant press of the key causes increments or decrement of the value in sequence. The value won’t change when reaching the maximum or minimum value. The time unit is minute.
    3. Press ON key, LCD will display SAVE symbol on the upper part for 1 s.

Tips: Zero default value (0) represents no automatic power-off function.
