World Standards Day
D.E.V.I.C.E. is an encyclopedia of terms used by manufacturers of test and measurement equipment. T&M Atlantic created this service to better explain the functionality of instruments it offers, and to highlight the latest developments in the world of measurement equipment. We are using such tools as animation to bring words and pictures to life and to create not just an understanding but also an appreciation for technology that goes into the design of every instrument.

World Standards Day is an international date celebrated to draw people's attention to the importance of uniform standards creation and to pay a well-deserved tribute to the joint efforts of thousands of specialists who devote their lives and professional skills to responsible and necessary work.
World Standards Day is celebrated around the world every year on October 14. This date was specifically chosen to mark the date, in 1946, when delegates from 25 countries first gathered in London and decided to create an international organization (ISO) focused on facilitating standardization. Even though ISO was formed one year later this date was chosen to mark the very start of it.
