ESP-32S Development BoardsESP32-WROOM-32 The manufacturer company (Espressif Systems, https://www.espressif.com/) declares the ESP32-WROOM-32 chip (38 pin) – as ESP32-WROOM-32 is a powerful, generic Wi-Fi + Bluetooth® + Bluetooth LE MCU module that targets a wide variety of applications, ranging from low-power sensor networks to the most demanding tasks, such as voice encoding, music streaming and MP3 decoding. At the core of this module is the ESP32-D0WDQ6 chip*. The first release (First release. V1.0) was in June 2016. The latest actual release (v3.5) from 2025-04-11. (Datasheet Version 3.5 - link to documentation) However, it is currently not recommended for new developments. For the implementation of ready-made projects, many companies produce ready-to-integrate modules with a pin pitch of 2.5 mm Below are two implementations of ready-made modules with a pin pitch of 2.5 mm: 1. From HiLetgo (Fig. 1-4) with a single-row set of 19 pins on each (long) side and dimensions of 22.86 mm * 48.26 mm. The module contains two LEDs (power indication and IO2 output), two buttons (reset), a mini USB connector, a 5 V to 3.3 V converter (IS AMS1117-5-3)
