Expanding the functionality of Internet of Things (IoT) networks, Texas Instruments (TI) announced availability for mass production of the industry's lowest-power dual-band wireless microcontroller (MCU) supporting Sub-1 GHz and Bluetooth® low energy connectivity on a single chip.

Keysight Technologies, Inc., the first company to introduce a one-box, 1,500 V, photovoltaic (PV) array simulation solution — the N8900APV Series — announced the addition of automated static and dynamic maximum peak power tracking (MPPT) test to its Solar Array Simulator (SAS) Control software for N8900APV Series PV simulators. The static and dynamic MPPT tests are performed in accordance with the European Standard EN50530 (April 2010) procedure, which is widely accepted as the industry standard for the overall efficiency of grid-connected photovoltaic inverters. Keysight Technologies, Inc. announced that Mark Wallace will succeed Guy Séné as head of Keysight's global sales organization on Nov. 1, 2016. Séné will remain as an advisor through the end of the company's first fiscal quarter, Jan. 31, 2017, when he will retire.
