Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) announced plans to expand its internal manufacturing footprint in Malaysia with two new assembly and test factories in Kuala Lumpur and Melaka. Together, these new investments will support TI’s plan to bring 90% of its assembly and test operations internal by 2030 to have greater control of supply.

Keysight Technologies, Inc. has submitted the first protocol conformance test case for the 3rd Generation Partnership Project's (3GPP) Release 17 (Rel-17) standards for non-terrestrial networks (NTN) using narrowband internet of things (NB-IoT) technology. Anritsu Corporation President Hirokazu Hamada announces Anritsu has introduced expanded measurement functionality for its MS9740B optical spectrum analyzer (OSA) to meet the need for accurate, repeatable, and efficient testing of pulsed laser diode (LD) chips. The new solution reduces test time and produces repeatable measurements when evaluating LD chips during production, helping speed time-to-market.
