Anritsu and EMITE Supporting OTA Measurements On IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) Devices

01/18/2024

Anritsu Corporation and EMITE announce the enhanced functionality to the Over-the-Air (OTA) measurement solution, allowing measuring to compliance with the latest Wireless LAN standard IEEE 802.11be.

IEEE 802.11be is being standardized as the successor to IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6/6E) and is targeted to realize high-speed communications that significantly exceed IEEE 802.11ax. The standard is expected to be a fundamental technology supporting the latest applications and services, such as ultra-high-resolution video streaming beyond 4K and AR/VR.

Anritsu’s Wireless Connectivity Test Set MT8862A has been integrated with all portfolio of EMITE Anechoic and Reverberation Chambers (picture of E-Series Reverberation Chamber as an example), allowing developers to measure the OTA Total Radiated Power (TRP)/Total Isotropic Sensitivity (TIS) performance of IEEE 802.11be devices in a repeatable environment.
