Keysight Technologies, Inc. introduced the E7515W UXM Wireless Connectivity Test Platform for Wi-Fi®, a network emulation solution delivering signaling radio frequency (RF) and throughput testing for devices using Wi-Fi 7, including 4x4 MIMO 320 MHz bandwidth.

Anritsu Company in collaboration with Fujikura Ltd., has measured inter-core crosstalk in weakly coupled multi-core optical fibers using multiple methods and has confirmed that the results are equivalent. With the growing adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud services, the demand for higher transmission capacity in optical submarine cables and data center interconnects is rapidly increasing. Today’s optical communications rely on single-mode fiber (SMF) and advanced signal optimization technologies to achieve high data throughput. Rohde & Schwarz presents the new R&S UDS digital multimeter series. The compact instruments can display three measurements simultaneously and offer versatile measurement functions and various interfaces for remote control. Models are available with a digit resolution of 5 ½ as well as 6 ½, the latter providing a basic DC accuracy of 0.0075 percent. The R&S UDS series replaces the established R&S HMC8012 digital multimeter, offering more accuracy and an updated intuitive user interface for smooth and efficient testing.

Anritsu Company introduces an option for its Wireless Connectivity Test Set MT8862A (WLAN Tester) that extends its measurement capability to support Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be). With the option installed, the WLAN Tester – through is Network Mode – can evaluate the RF transmit and receive characteristics of 2x2 MIMO under real-world operating conditions, thus helping to improve the communication quality of WLAN-equipped devices.

Keysight Technologies, Inc. has joined the AI-RAN Alliance to advance the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and innovations in radio access networks (RAN). Established in early 2024, the alliance is a collaborative initiative bringing together technology, industry, and academic institutions to integrate AI into cellular technology to enhance RAN performance and mobile network capabilities.

Bluetest and Rohde & Schwarz extend their long-established collaboration and have integrated the Wi-Fi 7 test functionality of the R&S CMX500 one-box signaling tester into the Bluetest Flow control software. Now, developers and manufacturers of next-generation WLAN technology can use the Bluetest reverberation test systems (RTS) to perform MIMO stress testing of IEEE 802.11be stations as well as access points under realistic conditions.
