Anritsu and MediaTek Verify Smart AI Antenna Technology in Radio Communication Analyzer MT8821C

Anritsu Corporation and MediaTek have verified Smart AI Antenna Technology featured in MediaTek’s M90 5G Modem by using Anritsu's Radio Communication Analyzer MT8821C.

Smart Antenna, developed by MediaTek, is an advanced antenna technology that supports body proximity sensing, AI gesture detection, and 24% faster low-band uplink throughput with power and antenna tuning optimization functions. It will play a key role in innovations in Advanced 5G and 6G.

Anritsu supports verification for these functions with the MT8821C, designed for R&D into mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and IoT modules and chipset. It supports all technologies, ranging from LTE-U/LAA/Higher Order MIMO/LTE-Advanced to 3G/2G, with its easy-to-use measurement functions for efficient RF adjustment and testing in one unit.
