Texas Instruments (TI) introduced four tiny precision data converters, each the industry’s smallest in its class. The new data converters enable designers to add more intelligence and functionality, while shrinking system board space. The DAC80508 and DAC70508 are eight-channel precision digital-to-analog converters (DACs) that provide true 16- and 14-bit resolution, respectively. The ADS122C04 and ADS122U04 are 24-bit precision analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that feature a two-wire, I2C-compatible interface and a two-wire, UART-compatible interface, respectively.
Anritsu Company announces the submission of the industry’s first Protocol Conformance Tests defined by TS38.523 to 3GPP RAN5 working group for approval. These tests are based on mmWave (FR2) path for 5G New Radio (NR), Non-Standalone (NSA) mode devices. Anritsu successfully passed the test cases using the ME7834NR Protocol Conformance Test Platform in conjunction with a Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform and Snapdragon X50 5G NR modem family from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated.
Keysight Technologies, Inc., a leading technology company that helps enterprises, service providers, and governments accelerate innovation to connect and secure the world, announced that on December 8, 2018 the company submitted the industry's first 5G TTCN-3 conformance test case to 3GPP RAN5for 5G new radio (NR) device certification.
Tektronix, Inc., a leading worldwide provider of measurement solutions, announced the launch of a new Initial State data streaming and visualization service for individuals.
The cloud-based Initial State platform provides a highly secure centralized repository for time-series data and untethers analysis from installed software – all visualization and analysis applications are available through a web browser.
To advance millimeter-wave (mmWave) sensor technology in worldwide industrial applications, Texas Instruments (TI) announced its 60-GHz sensor portfolio, the highest resolution single-chip, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS), for industrial systems.
R&S SpycerNode represents the first in a new breed of storage systems that harness the latest advances in High Performance Computing (HPC), a term that refers to the system’s performance, scalability and redundancy. HPC is a combination of hardware, file system and RAID approach. HPC employs redundancy using software “RAID” technologies called erasure coding in combination with declustering to increase overall performance and reduce rebuild times. Also, system scalability is almost infinite and expansion is possible during operation.
Keysight Technologies, Inc., a leading technology company that helps enterprises, service providers, and governments accelerate innovation to connect and secure the world, announced that the company's 5G Conformance Toolset is the first test solution to be approved for 5G New Radio (NR) device certification by PTCRB, a certification forum comprised of select leading cellular operators, accelerating commercial availability of 5G mobile devices across the ecosystem.
Anritsu Company introduces 64-Gbaud PAM4 Pulse Pattern Generator (PPG) and 32-Gbaud PAM4 Error Detector (ED) modules supporting 400GbE and Over 400G bit error rate (BER) tests for its Signal Quality Analyzer-R MP1900A BERT.
