AKTAKOM AM-3055 is an auto scan Pen R/C Meter in a single box with tweezers. Automatic recognize resistance, capacitance and diode. Measure high resistance and capacitance quickly.
AM-3055 multimeter (analog of VA505B) provides fast precise measurements of small chip components. Specifically designed for use with SMD components on board circuits. Ideal for electronic maintenance, industry or homework.
"Absolute measurement error" service allows you to estimate the measurement accuracy considering uncertainty (error) in the absolute value. It's important if you take measurements at the range edge when the error value contributes to the value displayed on the device screen.
To get the value range it'd be enough to enter the estimate of the value under measurement into Value input field and to see the range of possible values taking all of the standardized errors into consideration.
Note: a point is used as a separator of the integer and fractional part.

To avoid electrical shock or damages to the meter under test, disconnect circuit power and discharge all high-voltage capacitors before measuring resistance.
Press FUNC. key and select the function at mode.
Connect the test clip to the object being measured and the measured value will show on the display.
NOTE:
When this mode the RANGE key is available.
When the input is not connected, i.e. at open circuit, the figure "OL" will be displayed for the overrange condition.
Diode measurement
To avoid electrical shock or damages to the meter under test, disconnect circuit power and discharge all high-voltage capacitors before testing diodes.
Press FUNC. Key and select the function at mode.
Connect the + pin to the anode, the - pin to the cathode of the diode under testing.
The meter will show the approx. forward voltage of the diode. If the lead connection is reversed, only figure "OL" displayed.
Continuity check
Press FUNC. Key and select the function at mode
Connect the test clip to the resistance. If continuity exists (i.e., resistance less than 30Ω) built – in buzzer will sound.
Capacitance measurement
To avoid electrical shock or damages to the meter under test, disconnect circuit power and discharge all high-voltage capacitors before measuring capacitance. Keep two pins of the capacitance in short before measuring.
Press FUNC. Key and select the function at mode.
Connect the test clip to the capacitor being measured and read the displayed value.
